Think of it as flower power meets coastal cottage...The design is an earlier one, from the mid-1940s, 100% cotton.When I say shabby chic, I mean it - there are natural attributes of its very long & vibrant life, including small holes & pinholes throughout. I took one of the collage photos held up to the light so you can see an example from the reverse side of the spread. So if you could do without true shabby details like these, this is not the bedspread for you.
It displays beautifully and brings a striking appearance to any room, where it works particularly well with chippy metal and shabby wicker.
